“Better Construction Through Fair Construction” – The American Subcontractors Association promotes and protects the rights and interests of subcontractors and suppliers by building strength in community through education, legislation, networking and professional growth.

About Us

ASA of Ohio formed as a statewide chapter in January, 2008. Three (3) chapters within the State; Central Ohio, Cincinnati and Northern Ohio, came together to form one (1) Statewide Chapter. This new Chapter provides its members a larger, stronger and more unified voice in our effort to serve and support the subcontractors, specialty trade contractors and suppliers, who work in the construction industry.

ASA of Ohio (ASA-OH) is in the business of promoting programs and services, and an environment in which subcontractors, specialty trade contractors and supplies can operate profitably. ASA-OH is unlike any other organization you may know about or belong to! Nowhere else will you find others so willing to stand up for subcontractor rights.

ASA of Ohio strives to assist its member firms through government and industry advocacy, education resources, information on customers and prospective customers and news you can use. Our goal is to help your business grow and be profitable. ASA of Ohio’s Board of Directors has established the following four (4) goals:

Goal 1: Advocacy. Advocate protecting the rights of members and improving the business environment before all branches and levels of government and the construction industry.

Goal 2: Communications. Communicate with members in a timely, focused, interactive and effective manner.

Goal 3: Education. Provide business management education to the construction industry.

Goal 4: Networking. Provide a network for members to exchange timely, relevant information.

As a member of ASA of Ohio, you also are automatically a member of our partner on the national level, the American Subcontractors Association, Inc. (ASA). ASA’s mission is to amplify the voice of and lead trade contractors to improve the business environment locally and at the federal level for the construction industry and to serve as a steward for the subcontractor community.
